Local artist John Mosebarger began painting with watercolor after seeing a piece done by Pete Winklbauer.

"I saw the freedom of his brush, flowing across the paper like it was alive. Pete taught me techniques on how to manipulate water and paint to create color I had never imagined. He sent me in my own direction, helping me find my own style that has evolved into the work I do now and hopefully will continue evolving. His work showed me a different path which opened up a whole new vision; I can only hope that I can have the same impact on others as he did on me."

John's debut exhibit can be seen in the ECCOTA Gallery July 7-28. Join us for the artist's reception on Friday, July 13th, 5-8PM.
