FEBRUARY

2/1- Poetry Reading Hosted by Sarah Cleary, from 5-6 pm.  Stop in the ECCOTA Gallery and share your favorite poems.

2/22-  "For the Love of Wood" OPEN MIC NIGHT IN THE ECCOTA GALLERY.  The floor will be open to artists, musicians, performers, and lumber lovers alike who want to share their talents and stories in good company. This free event is from 7-9 pm. 

2/23- Annual Feed the Arts Soup Benefit from 12-2 and 4-7 pm.  The Feed the Arts Soup Benefit is tastiest way to help support the arts in Elk County.   This year the event will be held in Ridgway at the North Broad Fire Hall, the event will feature over 20 soups, breads, desserts, music, wine tasting, artisan market, silent auction, and more!  Admission for unlimited tastes is $10/person and all proceeds benefit the Elk County Council on the Arts.

3/1- Deadline for artists submissions to the 2012 Art in the Wilds.  More festival information and an application at artinthewilds.org.

3/15, 3/16, 3/17- The Footlighters of Elk County present “You Can’t take it with You” at Aiello’s Café. Dinner 6:30, Curtain 7:30.  

 3/20 - ECCOTA would like to welcome Lisa Connelly into the gallery for "Picture on Glass" art class from 6pm to 9pm.  Class cost is $25 ECCOTA members and $30 non-members. All materials are provided.  Call ECCOTA to sign-up at 772-7051.

3/13, 3/20, 3/27, 4/3 - "Digital Photography Class" with Ray Beimel. Students are asked to bring their digital cameras and instruction booklets.  Cost is $60
