Charles Wish (b. Los Angeles, California, 1971) is an American painter best known for visually fusing Regionalism imagery with 9th - 19th century South Asian symbolism and motifs. (Debut show: CPop Gallery, Detroit, Michigan, USA - 2005)

Charles and his wife Abbi Peters have happily resided in Elk County for over 10 years now. However, since Charles is represented by several galleries on both coasts, it has been difficult to show his work here in Ridgway, the town which is now home base for his main studio.

That’s why ECCOTA is so pleased to announce that select pieces of his work will be on public view in the gallery (information here) followed by a personally hosted tour of his studio space with additional work at the Walnut Street Art House, 304 Walnut Street, Ridgway from 9PM-12AM, immediately after the opening reception at the gallery. Snacks and beverages will be included with the tour. Please be aware that attendees will have to climb stairs in order to access the studio space.

Due to space restrictions the studio tour will allow for a limited number of guests. Reservations are appreciated. Admittance at the door may be possible but is not guaranteed.

Reservations are not required for the opening reception at the ECCOTA Gallery.

To view more of Charles Wish’s work visit CharlesWish.com.

All proceeds benefit ECCOTA's annual programming.
