Having so many different interests, Lori’s work can vary greatly from piece to piece. Sometimes she feels like working strictly with gemstones, creating a piece based not only on the way the stones look, but incorporating their meanings and folklore so the result has a theme that makes it special. Other times she focuses on the metal components, especially copper - bending, hammering, texturing and shaping it to fit an idea she has in mind. Lori says, “That is the exciting thing about making jewelry...you are only limited by your own imagination and there are no rules!”
