Beginners Weaving Class: Triangle Wrap

Lois Crozier of Little Bear Creek Alpacas will lead this class in two Thursday evening sessions, October 17 and 24 from 6-9PM in the ECCOTA Gallery.

Attendees will learn the technique of using a triangle loom to weave a finished triangle wrap between 3 and 4 feet wide at the top.

This class is suitable for ages 13 and up. Basic crocheting skills are recommended to make the process easier. Attendees must be able to stand or sit to work with their fingers and crochet hooks, reaching up and to the side for extended periods of time.

Materials needed:

A minimum of 5 skeins of yarn prepared to pull from the skein or in a ball.
Thicker yarns are recommended. Light and bright colors are easier to see.
Scissors
2 long crochet hooks, size C & H or similar

Materials provided for use during the class:
A triangle loom and stand
Extra yarn

The cost is $65 for current ECCOTA members, and $80 for non-members, which includes an annual Individual Membership. Advanced registration and payment is required. Class fees are non-refundable.
