Julie Mader

Painting
Smethport, PA

Currently a resident of Smethport, Pennsylvania, Julie grew up with a love for The Great Outdoors and with a pencil in hand, she sketched the farms and rolling hills of Southern PA. Primarily a self-taught artist, Julie interprets the McKean County landscape and landmarks of the region as both paintings and drawings focused on preserving regional and natural history through her artwork. Taking advantage of her ten years of drafting experience, pen and ink drawings were Julie’s concentration until 2004 when she discovered watercolor painting and her world extended beyond black and white.

Member of The Wilds Cooperative of Pennsylvania.
