Become an ECCOTA Artist

Perks of Becoming an ECCOTA Artist:
In 2013, the gallery underwent major renovations which have allowed us to display a large amount of artwork in a professional setting. Renovations included: new floor, faux tin ceiling, and bright track lighting. The subsequent addition of modern display fixtures and new signage added to the improvements and curb appeal.

We promote our artists and their work through social media, print advertising, and by providing clean and professional web presence within the ECCOTA website. Our website features an online shop, artist profile pages (currently being updated), classes, exhibits, events, wish lists, registries, and more.

The gallery hours vary seasonally.  We do not require artist members to work in the gallery. ECCOTA’s regular staff and summer interns cover all shifts.

There is no fee to apply. Our artists pay a yearly minimum membership fee of as little as $12 and an exhibitor fee of just $25. These fees allow us to cover a small portion of the operating costs necessary to keep the gallery open. We keep our commission fees reasonable at 20%.

Artist Submission Process

Artist submissions are reviewed three times each year, in March, June, and September. Digital submissions are accepted any time and will be reviewed at the next scheduled session. We accept submissions of all mediums of visual, 2D, 3D, food, jewelry, music, literature, and any other handmade artisan and heritage craft goods. The jury review will be conducted by the ECCOTA Gallery Committee and staff.

Why do we jury artwork? Exhibition space is limited. It is the jury’s job to eliminate weaker entries. Don’t let sloppy presentation, incomplete information, or poor visuals become the reason that a jury rejects your work. Be sure to put your best foot forward.

Please review the New Artist Requirement Packet prior to submission.
