Scott Gnan

Woodworking
Penfield, PA

Scott Gnan of Penfield enjoyed working in the construction field for the past 30 years. Two and a half years ago he bought a lathe and decided to try his hand at wood turning bowls. Since that time his skills have grown to include turning wine stoppers, bottle opener’s, pizza cutters, salt and pepper shakers, and game calls, among other household utilitarian items. The reward of wood turning is taking a piece of wood destined for the burn pile, and turning it into a beautiful heirloom gift.
