Summer Theater Camp Presents Mary Poppins, Jr.!

The Elk County Council on the Arts will be hosting Summer Theater Camp on June 15, 17, 21, 22, 23 & 24, 2021.

The performance on Thursday, June 24 is open to the public. Doors will open at 6:30PM. Admission is free but donations to ECCOTA are encouraged and appreciated.


Summer Theater Camp Schedule & Information

All activities will be held in the St. Marys Area High School Carpin Auditorium
Summer Theater Camp is open to students entering grade 3 in the fall of 2021 through this spring’s graduated seniors.

Tuesday, June 15
Camp begins at 9AM and ends at 4PM. Auditions will be held in the morning. Roles will be assigned and rehearsal will begin after lunch. Campers can be picked up between 4PM and 5PM from the St. Marys Area High School.

Thursday, June 17
Camp begins at 9AM and ends at 4PM. Campers can be picked up between 4PM and 5PM from the St. Marys Area High School.

Monday - Wednesday, June 21 – 23
Camp begins at 9AM and ends at 4PM. Campers can be picked up between 4PM and 5PM from the St. Marys Area High School.

Thursday, June 24
Camp begins at 12 NOON. There will be no lunch break. Pizza, drinks, and snacks will be provided to camp participants before the performance. Doors open at 6:30. The performance begins at 7PM. Friday’s schedule is subject to change. Notice will be given via email.

Clothing
Camp participants should wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Please limit devices that may cause campers to be distracted during downtime. The St. Marys Area School District requires masks/face shields and social distancing by all participants.

Lunch
Camper participants should bring a brown bag lunch and beverage each day. We will alert participants of allergies when necessary.

Performance
Doors will open at approximately 6:30PM Thursday, June 24. Admission will be based on a donation basis. Your donation helps support the arts in Elk County and continue programming like Summer Theater Camp. Pre-packaged concessions will be available during intermission.

Scholarship Information
A limited number of full scholarships ($75) are available to residents of Elk County. Scholarship requests must be submitted by 5PM Friday, June 4 to be considered. No late requests will be accepted.
Scholarship award notification will be given the following week, at which time the full camp registration form may be completed. Only one scholarship per household, please. We do not ask for financial information. Submit your request here.
